Referral Program Terms
Effective July 13, 2026
These rules supplement the DC Metro Tracker Terms of Service and apply while the referral program is available in the app.
Who Can Use a Code
A new user may enter one referral code during their first 30 days using DC Metro Tracker. A code cannot be changed after it is linked.
When a Referral Counts
The referred user must enter the code, finish setup, and open the app again at least 24 hours later. Until then, the referral is pending.
Self-referrals, duplicate installations, fabricated users, automated claims, code manipulation, and other non-genuine referrals do not qualify.
The Reward
When the qualified-referral target shown in the app is reached, the referrer receives complimentary Metro Pro access for the supported lifetime of the service. The reward has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
Existing Subscriptions
The referral reward does not cancel an App Store or other marketplace subscription. Anyone with a renewing paid plan must cancel it through that marketplace to avoid another charge.
Fair Use and Program Changes
We may review referral activity, withhold pending credit, correct mistakes, or revoke rewards obtained through fraud, abuse, technical exploitation, or violation of these terms.
We may modify, pause, or end the program prospectively. We will not increase the target assigned to an existing referral profile after that target has been earned in good faith, except where required to address abuse, legal requirements, or a material technical error.
