DC Metro Departures does not require you to create an account.

Location Data
If you grant location permission, the app uses your device location to show nearby Metro stations and help sort station information by distance. Location is used while the app is open. The app does not sell your location data.
Favorites and App Preferences
The app stores your selected favorite stations, favorite lines, display preferences, theme preference, and similar settings so the app can personalize your experience. Favorites may be associated with an anonymous app identifier.
Anonymous Identifier
The app creates an anonymous identifier to remember favorites and support basic app functionality. This identifier is not your name, email address, or Apple ID.
Analytics and Usage Data
The app uses analytics to understand general app usage, improve reliability, and prioritize improvements. This may include events such as app opens, screens viewed, selected Metro lines, app version, build number, platform, and similar technical information.
Support Communications
If you contact support by email, we will receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, device details, app version, and operating system version.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Show nearby stations and relevant departure information
- Save favorites and app preferences

DC Metro Departures is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
