DC Metro Tracker
Live metro arrivals for the DC-area Metro. My coworkers and I spent too much time waiting for trains, and the existing apps were slow, inaccurate, or littered with ads. I created DC Metro Tracker to be an ad-free experience with one goal: give Metro commuters the real-time Metro data and personalized alerts where and when they need it.
What it does
Live Arrivals
Real-time predictions for every metro station, straight from WMATA.
Live Activities
Set up your commutes and get real-time train times on your lock screen. Schedule them ahead of time so that real-time train times are sent to your lock screen whenever you need them — no need to even open the app.
Personalized Alerts
Delays and disruptions tailored to your commute — not every line, just the ones that matter to you.
Station Info
View address, directions, upcoming departures, and first and last train times.
Android is coming
DC Metro Tracker is fully released on iOS. The Android version is built and in the testing phase. Google Play requires 12 testers before it can ship publicly. Interested in helping out?
Not up for testing? Leave your email anyway and I'll drop you a message when the app goes live with a special launch day offer.
Help & fine print
