Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Dex for macOS, operated by Daniel Tome. By downloading or using Dex, you agree to these terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement that applies to apps distributed through the Mac App Store.
Use of Dex
You may use Dex for lawful personal or business productivity. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to access systems or data without authorization, or use the app in a way that harms other people, devices, or services.
Your shortcuts
You control the shortcuts and destinations you configure. You are responsible for confirming that a shortcut opens the intended application, folder, website, or Apple Shortcut before relying on it. Dex does not inspect or control content handled by a destination.
Availability and changes
Dex is provided as a free app and may change over time. Features may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued. Dex may be unavailable because of operating system changes, device settings, conflicts with other software, or events outside the developer's reasonable control.
Third party services
When Dex opens another application, website, or Apple Shortcut, that destination may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. Daniel Tome is not responsible for third party content, services, availability, or actions.
Intellectual property
Dex, including its design, interface, text, organization, and code, is owned by Daniel Tome or used with permission, except for third party content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer Dex except where applicable law permits it.
Disclaimer
Dex is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. The developer does not warrant that Dex will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or suitable for every workflow.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daniel Tome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, profits, or productivity arising from or related to your use of Dex.
Privacy
Your use of Dex is also governed by the Dex Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.
