What to include
Include your Dex version, macOS version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps that reproduce the issue. Do not attach your shortcut configuration or private values unless they are needed and you have removed sensitive information.
Common fixes
Global shortcuts are not listening
Enable Dex under System Settings, Privacy & Security, Input Monitoring, then select Try Again in Dex.
A shortcut is unavailable
Choose a different chord. macOS or another app may already own the original combination.
An app or folder no longer opens
Edit the shortcut and select the app or folder again so Dex can refresh its security bookmark.
An Apple Shortcut does not run
Confirm that its name exactly matches the name shown in Apple's Shortcuts app and that it runs successfully there.
Dex is hidden
Open Dex again from Applications or Spotlight to restore its Settings window.
