About

A little about me

I'm a senior software engineer at Capital One working in Fraud where I've been for the last 4 years. Outside of work I enjoy designing and shipping my own iOS apps that solve my own problems — and hopefully those of others too! I've been integrating AI into the software development process for years in an effort to automate the boring things and increase the speed of building / delivering. I'm passionate about building useful products end-to-end and using tech to elevate the lives of everyone around me. I truly believe that it's never been a better time to be a builder.

I enjoy running, soccer, tennis, pickleball, ping pong, solidcore, biking, hiking, basketball, climbing, and pretty much anything outdoors. There's not enough time in a day or week to do all of these things, but I'm usually in a phase doing one or some of these.

Projects

Things I've built

DC Metro Tracker app icon

DC Metro Tracker

iOS — on the App Store Android — coming soon

Live metro arrivals for the DC-area Metro. My coworkers and I spent too much time waiting for trains, and the existing apps were slow, inaccurate, or littered with ads. I created DC Metro Tracker to be an ad-free experience with one goal: give Metro commuters the real-time Metro data and personalized alerts where and when they need it.

TieBreaker app icon

TieBreaker

iOS — on the App Store

Social polling, made simple. Create a poll, vote with friends, and watch results land in real time. After too many group chats turned into messy “like this message to vote” threads, I built TieBreaker to make group decisions easier while sharpening my app development skills.
